Guest Artist for the Le Beau Jardin Market: Kenny Massey

A sincere thank you to Sue Massey for this heartwarming biography of her husband Kenny, an amazing garden artist.  We cannot think of a better artist for our April "Le Beau Jardin" Market. We are so grateful that both Kenny and Sue will be joining us as our special guest artists for Nuit Blanche on Thursday April 9, 5-8:00 pm.

Sculptor Kenny Massey is drawn to recycled metal. Metal, born from the Earth's crust. Iron ore quarried, melted down and turned into metal which eventually will rust and return to the earth. A perfect fit for this artist. Kenny Massey is a rare find. He is a salt-of-the-earth kind of guy. A man with a gentle soul, few words and deep thoughts. Born and raised country, his roots are embedded in a respect for the land, family and community.

After giving a life time of providing for and raising his family of five (now) young adults, it is his time -- time to express himself through his sculptures. Sculptures that span from massive in size to petite hearts to hold in your hand.

Kenny takes great pride in his careful selection of each piece of recycled metal. He then submerges himself in the process of expression as he cuts, welds, warms, bends, polishes, torches and breathes life into each piece which carries a bit of himself within it.

It is through his skill, strength, determination, and tenacity that each piece becomes a Kenny Massey original. The paint colors Kenny selects are all originals from his love for tractors and farm/ranch machinery: John Deere green, International red, to Allis-Chalmers orange, etc. You can view more Kenny Massey "Hearts Aglow" sculptures: or Masseys Landscaping on Facebook or MasseyFamilywHeART on ETSY.  Commission work welcome (Interior/Exterior)
