Two years ago when my hubby and I were at our local hardware store, I bought four $0.99 rose bushes. They all looked a bit lame laying in a large box just waiting to be adopted. I didn't do anything special for the cheap species except dig a hole and plop them in the ground. I didn't really groom them and they were only fed what nature provides, soil, sun and rain. Now two years later my cheap rose bushes are the stunners of my garden.
It's a good reminder for me that quality can be found even in a bargain. We will have many inexpensive, packaged-up-pretty creations at our Soleil Market!
