Mademoiselle Winter

I found a delightful vintage dress made of dreamy pale aqua silk and toile at a second hand store. Natually, it reminded me of something a fashionable young woman would have worn at a winter dinner party in Paris in the 1950s. I wasn't certain exactly what I would do with it, but I knew it would fit in wonderfully in our upcoming holiday market.

When my daughter, a lover off all things fashion, came for a visit, she immediately fell in love with it and knew exactly what she wanted to do with it. With a needle, tread and snowflakes in hand, Rosie set to the painstaking task of transforming her vision into reality.

You will find the heavenly Mademoiselle Winter gracing our window at Confectionique on November 26th.

  1. Sounds like an amazing shop. If you are ever in Mineral Point at La Bella Vita. I have just merged with this fibre arts shop and we are developing a pretty lovely experience. Hope to get to one of your events soon. kath
