I feel a bit like Cinderella as the clock is approaching midnight. I simply don't want our trip to end. My husband (David) and I have not vacationed alone in 10 years. We have been given the most wonderful tour of Paris by our dearest friends my crafting sister and her husband Adam. We have had an amazing week filled with views of Paris from L'Arc de Triomphe, visits to Musee D'Orsay, the Cluny and the Carnivale. Visits (and beau coups de purchases!) at local markets and beautiful picnic lunches at some of the numerous sweet parks in Paris. (Some much grander than others! Like Les Voges and Luxembourg!). In short, a trip of a lifetime and I'm already plotting a plan to return. Oh and did I mention that many many Parisiennes have dogs. So, I think our beagles would fit right in...
In the mean time,I will craft my hearts desire into my future creations. The silver lining to returning (in addition to seeing our 4 little chicks!) will be the chance to put the inspiration I have bottled up in my brain right now into les creations! The ideas are endless after seeing Monet, Van Gogh, Renoir, Manet, Picasso...in person. Just being in Paris feels magical.
Alright, I can hear the bells ringing-it must be almost midnight. Time to get ready for our last day here.
Bonne Nuit Mon Amies,
