Funky not Junky

I told Jessica many times that one of my concerns when I'm transforming old treasures into new ones is if it turned out looking like a big piece of ......junk. I dread the thought of a customer picking up one of my items and thinking to themselves, "what in the hell was she thinking." I realize that all things don't appeal to all people, but I would at least prefer a customer look at something I've created and think, "now, that's funky," even if they don't purchase it for themselves. Today I was in a funky mood. So, I put away my sewing machine and opted to work with some thrift finds. Anyway, I totally had funk and not junk in mind. I hope those who come to the Confectionique Market will agree. My hubby reminded me that junk versus funk is in the eye of the beholder. As usual....he is right.
